What began as another routine 24-hour shift at the firehouse quickly transformed into something much bigger—a business that would soon become Fitz Wright LLC.

It all started around the back table in the apparatus bay, where Shawn, Justin, and a few crew members were tossing around ideas for small businesses. One of our lieutenants mentioned a business opportunity he had once considered but decided against, as his early retirement was on the horizon. That conversation sparked something in both Shawn and Justin. They saw potential where others hadn't, and within minutes, they were already brainstorming.

In just one month after that conversation in the firehouse, Fitz Wright LLC was born. They took the leap, turning an idea into a reality—a firefighter-owned and operated business creating custom fire panel key sets specifically designed for those in the fire service.

At Fitz Wright LLC, we take pride in our craftsmanship. Every key set is cut, tested, and assembled by our own hands—not once, but three times—to ensure it’s ready for action. This meticulous process guarantees that every product we send out meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Justin Wright - Firefighter and Co-Founder

Justin Wright is a dedicated firefighter based in New England, serving his community with pride for over 12 years. Before his career in the fire service, Justin was a Division 1 College Football player at the University of New Hampshire, where he honed his skills in teamwork, loyalty, and commitment. These values seamlessly transitioned into his passion for the fire service, which he views as a brotherhood and a calling to serve others.

Justin's journey from the football field to the fire station reflects his unwavering dedication to teamwork and community service. His athletic background instilled in him the importance of working together, a principle he carries into every aspect of his firefighting career.

Outside of work, Justin is a devoted family man. He is married and has two daughters, who love visiting their dad's fire station, where they get to see firsthand the dedication and commitment he brings to his role as a Firefighter.

In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time in the mountains snowboarding, relaxing by the lake and ocean, and staying active through regular workouts. These activities not only keep him physically fit but also allow him to unwind and recharge, ready to face the demands of his firefighting career.

As Co-Founder of Fitz Wright Fire, Justin combines his passion for the fire service with his entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to a business that reflects his values and dedication to quality and service.

Shawn Fitz - Firefighter and Co-Founder

Shawn Fitz is a third-generation firefighter with a lifelong connection to the fire service. Growing up, Shawn was inspired by the dedication of his father and grandfather, both of whom were firefighters. As a child, he spent countless hours visiting their firehouses, where he experienced firsthand the family-like brotherhood that defines the firefighting community.

In 2006, Shawn earned his Associate's degree in Fire Science from Laconia Community College, where he participated in the live-in program at Gilmanton Fire Rescue. This unique opportunity allowed him to live and work as a firefighter while attending school, further solidifying his commitment to the fire service. Shawn began his career as a firefighter in Southern New Hampshire in 2007, and in 2021, he advanced his education with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science from Anna Maria College.

Shawn currently resides in Southern New Hampshire with his wife, two children, and their energetic dog, Domino. Shawn grew up playing basketball, baseball, and football, and he now enjoys passing on his love of sports by coaching his son in various activities. He also is a proud dance dad, regularly cheering on his daughter at her recitals and competitions. Passionate about staying active, Shawn spends his time working on his yard, playing with his kids, running through the neighborhood, or strength training at local high school fields. As a New England native, he's a die-hard Boston sports fan, following his favorite teams.
